Self-treatment for sciatica
Lay with your back flat on the floor, hands at your sides. Rest your legs on a chair or couch so your knees are at 90 degree angle and your hips are at 90 degree angle. This puts your spine in a relaxed position with the least amount of pressure on the discs and spinal nerves. Lay for 15-20 minutes and ice your low back to help with any inflammation or swelling.
